James was born in the UK in 1966 and grew up in South Africa in the early 70’s. From an early age he was fascinated by music and fell in love with rock and metal. Although he has had a successful career in Business his true passion has always been the music he grew up with. He started playing guitar in his early teens and has played in a number of bands over the years. His knowledge and insight into the bands that make the music he loves is extensive and it shines through in his writing and his Radio Show.
